MANIT is partnering with Capitol Dental Care (https://www.interdent.com/capitoldentalcare/), PacificSource Health Plans, and the First Congregational United Church of Christ - Salem, Oregon, to host a Mobile Dental Clinic for the Marshallese and the Pacific Islanders on Saturday, April 01, 2023, from 10am to 5pm in Salem, Oregon. We will prioritize fully vaccinated individuals who got their vaccines at the Community Clinics hosted by MANIT or other Oregon CBOs.
We asked everyone wishing to get dental care to park their vehicles at parking spaces on the side of the road and wait for volunteers to come to you with papers to fill out and an assigned number. The Mobile Dental Clinic has limited spots, but we will keep taking people until 5pm. We kindly ask everyone to remain in their cars until we call their numbers.
Things to bring:
1. CDC Vaccine Card (Proof of Vaccination)
2. Oregon ID or Passport (Identification)
Please bring an extra pen for writing in case we run low. Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please email info@manit.org or call/text (503) 208-4142.
Kommool tata!

We believe that MANIT can serve an essential role in working alongside the Marshallese people in the United States by developing educational programs and resources, creating audio, video, and digital materials that highlight Marshallese culture, and helping Americans improve their sense of who the Marshallese are. We plan to work actively with existing groups, seek partnerships, and encourage Marshallese people to reach out and form relationships within and outside the Marshallese community.
